MEMORIAL: NOVEMBER 11
St. Martin of Tours was a Roman soldier in the 4th century. He became a conscientious objector upon his conversion prior to an unjust battle. After he left the Roman Army, he became a soldier for Christ, and eventually was named Bishop of Tours in Gaul (France).
