CHRIS BAYARDI

Chris Bayardi grew up in Wheeling, West Virginia wading Big Wheeling Creek for smallmouth bass and chasing deer in the hills of the upper Ohio Valley. He was schooled by his grandfather in gardening and learned the magnificence of ordinary things from his grandma. Chris graduated from Wheeling Central Catholic High School, earned a B.A. in Education from West Liberty University and later a Masters in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Chris has been around the block of Catholic Ministry and Education, working at the school, parish, and diocesan levels for over 20 years. Currently he works as a high school religion teacher and director of campus ministry.

Chris and his wife Sarah have been married for 21 joyful years. They chip away at life on a little homestead in the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia with their two sons. In his free time Chris likes to grocery shop in the woods and water, cook, watch movies and play board games with his family.
